Fatuma Maneno was born in Kigomw Tanzania, but moved to the US in 2015. Fatuma has always had an interest in healthcare. At 14 yrs old she promised herself to become a doctor. Her passion to help others lead her to take some nursing classes back in Tanzania and even work at the hospital. She is currently studying health science at salt lake community college with the hopes to go to med school some day.

It borders Uganda to the north; Kenya to the northeast; Comoro Islands at the Indian Ocean to the east; Mozambique and Malawi to the south; Zambia to the southwest; and Rwanda, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west. Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, is in northeastern Tanzania.
